The Premise
His wife flies out for two days and asks him to look after Bella, her grown-up daughter. Bella still calls him Daddy and has her own idea of what looking after her means. Two days, one house, and then the flight gets cancelled.
The cancelled flight is the part that makes it a series. Up to that point it is a countdown, two days until the wife is back. After it, the clock is gone and so is the safety margin. Five episodes is exactly enough for that turn.
