How to play it safe with Deepfake Porn Sites: What you Can and What you Can’t Do, to Respect Others

Author: AllenDate: February 12, 2025

Deepfake porn sites seem to be around here to stay, no matter how many news articles come out proving that people misuse them again and again. The technology is there to be used, but at the end of the day, it’s up to us to use it responsibly. Seriously, if you end up getting all these AI porn tools banned because you can’t keep it in your pants, I’m gonna be really pissed off.

Let’s take a look at the different types of AI deepfake porn sites out there and go through the steps you can take to respect others. Maybe you never learned about boundaries and consent, what do I know?

Ideally, there would be more legal precedents and laws that prohibit or manage who is at fault. Jurisdictions become blurry when you have a site that’s hosted, for example, in China, used with a VPN by someone in the US, creating a fake nude of a girl in France. It gives you a headache thinking about it.

What types of Deepfakes Exist?

There are constantly new sites that offer the ability to create deepfakes of people, usually without their permission or consent.

The most common types include:

Faceswaps – you upload an HD pic of someone’s face when you’re using an AI generator. You write the prompt of what you want to see and the result will have an incredible likeness to your source images.

Undress tools – upload a photo of someone facing the camera and draw around the clothes you’d like to remove. The AI then renders what their body would look like under the clothes.

Porn videos – like the faceswaps, there’s a ready-made XXX video and you can upload any number of faces to use as replacements.

Ethics and Respect in AI Porn

It’s kind of sad if you need to think this way to feel empathy; would you want someone to be sharing nudes of your sister or mom? Of course not, this isn’t some adult content step-family fantasy – these are real people with real lives.

When you’ve found a pic of a hot chick and can’t wait to think about what she looks like naked (we’ve all had a fantasy with x-ray eyes to see under clothes), stop. Leave it as a fantasy; you don’t need to see her nude. There’s porn for those urges. Which, by the way, is full of consenting adults.

Be respectful when you use deepfake porn sites, there are alternatives such as:

Image or video generators: you can create pics that don’t have any resemblance to real people. It’s a safe way to get your fix without harming anyone.

Porn: there are literally millions of pages on the internet where you can look at naked women for free, use them instead.

Be conscious: if you still want to create deepfakes, then pause for a second. Don’t ever share the results with people; they’re for private use. Ensure you have permission from the person whose face you’re using or undressing.

How these Sites should be Managed

They say that they want to protect your privacy and can’t see your creations. I like that because if you use these sites as intended, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Sure, you can use them to create memes of celebrities and pop figures, but there’s always going to be someone with a boner smiling at all the power they have.

If you’re making AI-generated pics of your girlfriend or someone with their consent to see how the tools work or to laugh over how accurate they are, you don’t want moderators seeing that. It’s an invasion of privacy.

However, if the mods can’t see anything that people are making, that’s even worse. For all we know there could be a ring of child pedophiles who use these tools for evil. It’s possible, despite some of the assurances by the websites themselves, that they use AI to detect minors and ban them. If you ever see a minor or an AI image pushing the boundaries, report it immediately.

The solution

To create deepfakes, you should have to prove you’re above 18 years old. That’s an easy step that will prevent all the high school and middle school students who use these sites for revenge porn or get back at someone. One error and they’ve ruined their lives or those of someone else.

Once an image is on the internet, it’s nigh impossible to remove. So when you’re using these sites, think about the people on the other end of the images. They have lives, and there are plenty of alternatives to seeing someone naked or fantasizing about them. Report anything which breaks the law when you’re using deepfake porn sites.
